This project aims to help ROC* Chile expand its search for nesting sites for Chile's storm-petrels. This project will help underwrite field trips to search of new colonies in new territories. For Ringed (Hornby’s) Storm-petrel the visits will occur in a completely new habitat from earlier discoveries in the desert around Antofagasta and for Fueguian storm-petrel high the team organized by ROC will search in mountainous areas of Aconcagua, Maipo and Cachapoal rivers. The field trips will occur between January and April 2022. The Bird Conservation Fund is a volunteer-led charity that operates on a zero overhead model. 100% of your gift reaches the project.
